TOWN COUNCIL
MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 9, 2015
7:00 PM

The Mountain View Town Council in Berkeley of Jefferson County, State of Colorado met for a regular Council Meeting on March 9, 2015, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Town Hall located at 4176 Benton Street.

Mayor Kiddie called the meeting to order, answering to roll call were the following.

Council members:

Dodie Dosh

Kathleen Hancock

Lou Fehlberg

Patricia Lilliston

Lisa Maurath

Absent:

Leola Boone

Staff members present: Linda Jackson Town Clerk/Treasurer

Ryan Malarky Town Attorney

Mark Toth Police Chief

Mayor Kiddie asked for a motion to approve the Agenda of March 9, 2015. Councilmember Lilliston made a motion to approve the agenda with the change of day that the council meeting was being held. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Dosh and was passed by unanimous roll call vote of councilmembers present.

Mayor Kiddie asked for a motion to approve the Minutes of February 19, 2015. Councilmember Lilliston made a motion to approve the Minutes of February 19, 2015 with corrections to be made. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Maurath and was passed by unanimous roll call vote of council members present.

Mayor Kiddie asked for a motion to approve the Cash Sheet and Claims. Councilmember Dosh made a motion to table the Cash Sheet and Claims until the council meeting of April 13, 2015 motion was seconded by Councilmember Hancock and was passed with 4 yes votes and 1 no vote of council members present.

There was one town resident present for tonight’s meeting.

Mayor Kiddie mentioned that the committee doing the job description for the Public Works job had come up with a spread sheet showing the different jobs that the Public Works took care of.

After discussion it was decided that the job description would be revisited in May so as to get it posted.

After looking over the qualifications needed to hire an engineer and/or engineering firm Councilmember Lilliston made a motion to direct Chuck Reid to go ahead and put the Proposal out for bid. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Maurath and was passed by unanimous roll call vote of council members present.

Mayor Kiddie informed council that Chuck Reid had come up with the criteria for a Business Improvement Grant Program.

Councilmember Lilliston reported that she and council member Boone had procured the Jackman Brothers and the Blue Grass Band for the town picnic.

Mayor Kiddie mentioned that he would be going with Rush Management to look at pot holes to determine as to how many need fixed.

Mayor Kiddie asked for a motion to adjourn until April 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Hancock made a motion to adjourn. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Dosh and was passed by unanimous voice vote of councilmembers present.
