PUBLIC NOTICE: ALLEY WORK SCHEDULE

Dear Residents:

The Town will be doing some much-needed alley patching and crack sealing, beginning Wednesday, May 20th, 2020. This work will take between five and seven business days (weather permitting). While the work will mainly take place in the alleys, the contractor will also be filling some street potholes and crack sealing part of Fenton Street.

Pothole patching starts Wednesday, May 20th in the alley between Fenton and Eaton streets and will move east from there as each alley is finished. As the pothole repair teams move east the crack sealing repair teams will follow behind them.

The crack sealing portion is currently scheduled to start on May 28th, 2020. After the work is completed, the contractor will sweep the alley around June 1st, 2020. While you will notice some enhanced dust and debris during this time, extending the life of our alleys should be well worth the temporary, minor inconvenience.

If you park in the alley or use the alley for garage access, please note that these teams will not be blocking off entire alleys. But it is highly recommended to not park in the alleys during this time.

If you have questions, please contact Gene Bird, our Public Works Director, at gbird@tomv.org.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this process.

Glenn Levy, Mayor
